2Not the best germination rateDec 30, 2009
By Marshall Simmons
Order came in very quickly, however the germination rate is extremely low. I am using a hydroponic system in which everything else germinates quickly and efficiently, and these seeds just don't really want to grow.

4Grew great for me!Apr 24, 2010

I planted a bunch of this brand's seeds in my city container garden.
I planted them directly into the soil (I used organic soil) and watered them faithfully...they all grew very well, including the cilantro. Delicious!

I live in notoriously foggy/windy San Francisco, so I was very pleased with my organic seed crops. Of all the crops, I am still getting cilantro and lettuce, several months now. The cilantro is now going to seed (looking forward to harvesting seeds, first time). I will plant more.

(Aside from cilantro, I didn't thin out the beets enough, so I got a great crop of greens but only tiny beets. I have my second crop growing now, and I followed the planting instructions to the letter, they're looking great. )

I am very angry. The seed was not from BOTANICAL INTERESTS, a company I respect and know well. I was given seeds from TODD'S Seeds a company associated with Buy Wholesale Cheap (one and the same?) according to their very limited website. I've never heard of Todd's Seed and did not contract to purchase Todd's seed. One of the seed packets they sent wasn't even marked organic.

5A good buy.Jul 17, 2011

I am not sure if this is a good product but I thought it was a good buy purely from the price point. Since this was a gift to a friend, I am not sure how this grows though.

Lots and lots of cilantro!! Have had to cut and dry it so we can use it later. Great addition to any recipe!
