Endame SeedJul 02, 2006

We are growing this in Arizona and having a fair amount of luck. So far the plants are thriving well. It helped to start them in peat pots. The soil here is clay, so after they had their second leaves we transplanted them into the garden. For our first time they haven't been much trouble yet. Easy seeds to grow.

By C. bessette I planted them and they came up. That's pretty much what you would expect. I give them 5 stars for not not coming up.

The Bad: Japanese beetles would have eaten everything had we not purchased a very fine mesh net with elastic to put around the stems (link below). Obviously, that cannot be blamed on these seeds, but the beetles only ate these plants, leaving everything else untouched.
