4No germination problems, tasty fruitAug 01, 2011

My plants are doing very well - pretty much all of the seeds I planted germinated (although one was not a ground cherry plant), and are producing small (<1/2") and tasty yellow fruits in copious amounts.

I am having a germination issue too. I got 3 out of 6 to germinate so far. They are slow growing but will be worth the wait. I purchased a tomatillo from a local nursery that turned out to be a ground cherry. They are really sweet, like a tomato and a cherry crossed. My kids haven't even had one yet because I get them all!

I was so excited to get these seeds only to be very disappointed. I didn't have a single seed germinate. Not even one. Yes, I followed the instructions. I live in Arkansas and since these seeds/plants love heat, I thought they would be a homerun. Really makes me wonder how old the seeds were as tomatoe seeds germination rate decreases rapidly. I'm going to order from a different company and see if I get better results. I generally don't leave negative feedback but I just couldn't help it since it was a total waste of money.
