Plant in well-drained fertile soil 1/2" deep, 1" apart. Thin the seedlings up to 4" apart and keep the soil moist. Harvest when the plant begins to fall over.

The reddish colored bulb has excellent flavor with a sweet, mild pungency.

It's best for salads and sandwiches.
