The melons I got from this plant were NOT pear shaped like the picture indicates. Instead they were more like a bowling ball. The skin is very dark green with bright yellow spots. At the very least it is interesting. I found the flesh to be sweet and juicy. They are smaller then the standard watermellon. For me, the "ripe" product was somewhat anemic in color AND flavor.

The seeds arrived very fast and we are pleased. They are already popping up in the garden and can't wait to see the fruit.
